We love lifestyle photography! AND we love Christmas! So what could be better than putting them together? Absolutely nothing.

Like many of you, we usually decorate for Christmas right after Thanksgiving and this year was no exception. We brought the boxes out of storage and got to work on Friday. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were a bit disappointed when we finished hanging ornaments. We're convinced they would've kept going all day if we'd had more branches and enough ornaments to fill them!

Behind the Scenes

Picture day doesn't always turn out the way you hope. It was lightly raining and completely overcast when we got ready to decorate the Christmas tree. Still, we didn't want to put off the fun so we grabbed our bag of gear and got creative. A few flashes set on a stand outside the window and triggered remotely make a pretty good substitute for sunlight.
