If you're looking for a great place to have a Bristol wedding check out The Bristol Hotel in Virginia. The Bristol Hotel is a relatively young space for the area but what it lacks in age it more than makes up for in class.

Kristen and Chad had hoped for a snowy wedding in Bristol and they just about got it! Here in the South, we get pretty excited about snow, even if it's only a few flurries. Needless to say, we all thought the short-lived winter wonderland was a magical touch for this special day.

There's something nice about being able to photograph an entire wedding in one location. Plus, since we're Bristol residents ourselves, we were extra excited to be photographing a wedding in our hometown. We arrived early to meet up with Kristen in her room for some bridal getting ready photos. From there, we made our way to Chad's room for the groom's getting ready pics. After that, we took a quick ride up the elevator to the Bristol Hotel rooftop bar for the first look. We captured bride portraits and groom portraits downstairs and family formal pictures right off the main entrance. What could have been easier? After this awesome couple said their 'I do's', we snuck back up to the rooftop for some wedding party photos with lights from the city of Bristol in the background.

Everywhere we went we found charm and class. There are some amazing spaces to create beautiful wedding imagery in this gem right in the heart of downtown Bristol. We sincerely look forward to our next opportunity to photograph a wedding there.
